ASHI Certified

I am a proud Certified Member of ASHI.  (The American Society of Home Inspectors)

ASHI Certified Inspector: 244460

NYS Licensed Inspector 16000009710

ASHI, founded in 1976, is North America’s oldest and largest professional society of home inspectors. ASHI’s goals are to build customer awareness of the importance of a quality home inspection and enhance the professionalism of home inspectors.

There are 100’s of New York State licensed home inspectors working in this area, but only a small percentage of these have completed the rigorous ASHI requirements to earn the status of “ASHI CERTIFIED INSPECTOR”.

As an ASHI Certified Inspector, I promise to deliver accurate, objective, and comprehensive home inspections that are delivered in a manner that is educational, service-oriented and focused on you having a positive home inspection experience.

Trust an ASHI Certified Inspector When Buying a House—We Speak House

As an ASHI Certified member, I know houses. I have been trained to objectively communicate what a house has to say. To achieve the Certified Member status within the ASHI organization, I have had to demonstrate technical proficiency and report-writing skills, and I am required to earn annual membership renewal credits by  attending ASHI approved educational courses. This assures that I stay up to date in both inspection and construction technologies and practices. Without these credits,  my membership in ASHI would be terminated.

Be aware!  Organizations do exist, whose only membership requirements are the passing of an online exam and the payment of a fee. Then, abracadabra, these professional wannabes become “certified inspectors” with an official looking logo to display on their website.

ASHI inspectors are the only truly certified inspectors. ASHI is the only association that is independently accredited (NCCA).

ASHI.org is the definitive resource for inspectors, home buyers and sellers, real estate professionals and the media for everything having to do with the home inspection profession.
